Developing Student Leadership at NIDA
Jack has long believed that education is about much more than developing technical or academic skills or what you can learn in the classroom.
At NIDA, this has led to a growing focus on the role students play as leaders within their courses, productions, creative teams and communities.

One part of this work has been the development of NIDA's Third-Year Leadership Forum, creating dedicated time for students approaching the end of their training to think about what leadership means within the creative industries.
Alongside this, Jack continues to work with student representatives and colleagues to strengthen student voice, governance and opportunities for students to contribute to the institution around them.
Leadership does not always come with a title.
For Jack, it is about giving students the confidence to contribute, listen, challenge, support others and understand the impact they can have on the culture around them.
